LDB identifies efficiencies to benefit BC Cannabis Stores’ online customers
The Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) has identified a number of efficiencies in its delivery model for online orders of non-medical cannabis to directly benefit customers of BC Cannabis Stores.
To support the best possible customer experience, the LDB has reduced the cost of shipping and now provides a shorter delivery period for orders.
Effective immediately, customers of the online store will pay a reduced shipping fee of $8.00, down from $10.00, and the LDB has committed to delivering online orders within one to four business days; however, there may be delivery delays in the areas affected by the ongoing Canada Post rotating strikes.
Customers who order from the online BC Cannabis Store before 11.59pm will receive their order within one to four business days, depending on where in the province they are ordering from.
Also, as part of its commitment to social and environmental responsibility, the LDB has reduced the size and formatting of packing materials.
As its cannabis line of business continues to mature, the LDB will continue to identify possible efficiencies that will have a flow-on effect to customers.
The LDB’s retail product assortment will continue to be refined and updated in order to cater to customer demand. New products are being added to the site on a weekly basis, and the LDB is looking at opportunities with additional licensed producers.
